DoNotReadThisUserNamePlz ^ This guy's username does not pass the :FilterStringForBroadcast() check I'm sure many others don't either. Such a broken, hilarious violation of their own terms.

^ yup, there's also instances where you can't search some peoples' usernames on the search bar. I guess the search bar has feelings too because if you try to type something in that the filter sees as bad, the search bar will go ahead and transform it into hashtags

You only have to refilter usernames if they are part of the user's message.

usernames run through a much weaker filter but no you don't need to filter them
