there is no good workout to get abs because you cannot train just abs. if you want to train abs you need to train everything else.

not to mention doing the same workout will not work either because at some point your body will get used to the rigor of the workout and reach a plateau, where you are basically working out for nothing since your body is already used to the workout.

To get abs you can't just work a specific muscle group, you're gonna have to work on everything which basically means go for a jog or other cardio workout.

i used to do 500 crunches a day since thats what my coach had us do every practice. it worked worked until the plateau thing. only thing to do at that point is increase number of crunches or switch to the ab crunch machine they have at the gym, followed by side dumbbell bends, and decreasing pull ups with a plate.

running also helps since stuff like in cross country/distance running your abs are basically the machine of your body that coordinates your arms and legs.

drinking water also helps to make sure fat doesnt rest there. dont know the exact science stuff behind that though, but it has to do with the fat/tissue/whatever on your stomach that is covering your abs.

It's funny cause I know what to do but the only thing I only improved is my arms,chest and shoulders but never my abs. Rip, too lazy to do abs. GLORIOUS CHEST DAY

if you drink enough water and do 500 crunches with variations each 100 crunches you should see some change by around 2-3 weeks which is where you will begin to plateau.

you have to start somewhere. if 500 consecutively is too difficult then do 500 with around a 10-20 second rest between each 100 crunches. if you are an absolute noob with no experience at all, then just start with 100 crunches, and progress from there.
