As Development of Battlefront: Space II continues, I have decided not to drag the game down with any sort of Alpha or Beta release before the full launch. Instead, there will be short Play Tests that anyone will be able to participate in.
Each test will usually last for 24 hours to give everyone a chance to play throughout the day. The tentative schedule is to have a Test each Saturday until shortly before the game officially launches.
Q: "How do I participate in a Play Test?" A: Simple, play as much or as little as you want of the game, and jot down anything that sticks out to you. Then, send me a private message either through Roblox or Twitter (see my profile for the link to my Twitter page) that lists: 1, your overall thoughts of the game itself, 2, anything you think should be better, and 3, anything you think is great as is.
If you absolutely must, then you can instead post your thoughts on the Battlefront: Space Fans wall, but only if the other options aren't available to you. I want each response to be your own, unique view and not tainted by other responses, so please only use it as a last resort.
Keep in mind while you play that the game isn't yet finished, but don't let that stop you from telling me your thoughts about it. I probably haven't yet noticed what you see in your play through, and even if I have, another opinion about why it's good or why is bad will help.
If you do try out the game, then please do take the time do write a response, even if you've written one already, another never hurts after a second test. This will be extremely helpful for me to identify what's needed most in the game, and what I should invest most of my time doing for it.
For easy reference, here are the dates that the first set of Play Tests are planned: Feb. 4 Feb. 14 Feb. 18 Feb. 25 |
