| Really I'm looking for people with the intelligence to form complete words in the first place. I'm also not just looking for people familiar with Lapis; I'm actually trying to migrate things away from Lapis where possible. I'm looking for Go and/or Rust devs for that reason. |

| It was only this week that I found out that Lua is not object-oriented. I had thought that ######### were like objects, but they're actually just tables that you can't use stuff like unpack() or pairs() on. Mind-boggling! |

| You asked for us to state experience; I listed the experience I had which I thought was relevant. Sorry that I "disgusted" you. |

If the ###... was instances, you're not quite correct It's a userdata, not a table |

| By the looks of Valkyrie it seems to function a bit like my current project, just open source, with a wrapper and more client-centered than mine. |

"i like go for the goroutines"
Did you know that Goroutines are just like Lua's Coroutines internally?
They run on separate threads but are collaboratively scheduled, the compiler automatically inserts "wait" calls in various places. |

Kewl.
I just learned that "self" is actually a keyword in Lua. How come it isn't put in bold, I wonder? |

@Client, the PHP comment was not aimed at you, but rather the CD'd guy who decided to make some snarky comment about us using Lapis over PHP.
Trust, Valkyrie is not like your project. Either I am misrepresenting Valkyrie (likely) or you are misleading yourself. |

| Hey eLunate since you know a lot about programming languages I have a question. One of my life goals is to create the perfect programming language, and I want to make it out of the same "stuff" that Java or Python is made out of. Do you know how I would achieve this? |

You transpile a language by parsing it and changing all of the structures from one to another. Drako code goes in, Lua comes out.
I don't know what the 'stuff' is that you talk about for Java and Python.
Booing you're well known for being unhelpful the moment something is out of your league. |

| Valkyrie uses an injector which loads it at runtime, because it needs to be the most current version of Valkyrie, however it does depend on Freya because a lot of the current Freya core were modules in legacy Valkyrie. |

link to injector/whatever?
"Freya provides core utilities and libraries for developments of games, modules, and plugins. It also provides standards and features to make sure that things just work; dependency resolution, intents, permissions, load-order management, automagic package management, and some other things.
Valkyrie provides features for players which succeed features which Roblox removed or botched, acting as a portal and service for making actual games with Roblox, providing the meta-game features your game wish it had but could never get."
what are the "core utilities and libraries" of freya and " features for players" in valkyrie exactly (main ones)?

Freya: Package manager w/ dependency resolution, intents, permissions, input
Valkyrie: Achievements, global bans, extended play statistics, notifications, invites & join intents, and a lot of other stuff aimed at the meta-game. |

| You don't know enough about Lua to not call it LUA, so I give you a 8/10 for effort and immediate disqualification. How much do you know about HTML/CSS? You'll need to have at least some level of familiarity with JS. |
