| FilteringEnabled doesn't magically break what you've made and keep out exploiters. Basically, it means that what the player does on his computer doesn't copy to the server, meaning it doesn't copy for anyone else. This stops exploits, but it may also stop parts of your game from working. You should go to the ROBLOX wiki and take a look at RemoteEvents and RemoteFunctions. It's a tough concept for some people but it should be pretty easy to ### #### #### wrapped around. |

From now on, use FE. You will get really confused as to how RE's and RF's work, and why they won't at times..
Just some simple rules:
RE's and RF's can pass values, just like a function. However, when firing client to server, the player is inexplicitly (automatically) passed through, so when you listen for the even on the server, always have a parameter set aside for the player object (always the first parameter).
Place them in ReplicatedStorage, it is the most common, and best place so your workspace does not become messy. |
