Back then it used to be about growing a generic group even if it was cringy or had bad tech
now elitism has taken over and small clans full of try-hards try to become the best at a certain weapon
every superclan now has to put more attention into their elites division to catch up and lose sight of their ways
large clans that were good in the past put almost no attention to their actual community or regular members |

| Personally I like a clan that is easygoing. I don't really care too much about tech but I like clans who have a fort that is fair to an extent |

Right. Clans are not dying, it's only based on your criteria.
From someone else's perspective it could seem clans are doing better than it has ever done in years.
Personal preference I suppose but there are still large clans who focus on an actual community, there's at least one. So no one's losing out. :) |

| I was in TRA for a couple years and it was pretty fun. I was a combat medic and even though it doesn't seem like a useful division it was really fun and I made a lot of friends and memories. |

| No, I agree with Liber8or. Clans need to be more fun than based on skill people are just copying VAK with their edgy power clans. |

That's a perspective but that doesn't necessarily make a clan good.
The whole point of a game is for it to be fun, right?
However, your version or idea of fun and recreation is different from individuals, so to post a forum that 'clans are dying' is misleading. Having said that though, I never said I disagreed with you but someone's perspective isn't everyone else's too.
Doesn't that sound reasonable? |

Untrue but you're right in one way
Clans would be better if we would stop putting so much emphasis on how good some people are and raising them up to an unachievable standard as if they expect a normal clan member to be on the same skill level as somebody from an Elites division |

| @YETI from what I've experience, clans that overvalue skill have a toxic community of people trying to one-up each other. It is not enjoyable at all but I guess to some people being the best gun fighters on Roblox is an achievement |

People want to be the best, let them be the best. If people want to be good at a virtual game, by no means stop them.
However a skillful group doesn't necessarily need to be toxic at all, it's all up to the leader and his high command who decide what discipline to enforce. Ultimately, when a group has a horrible community it's the leader's or its high command's fault. |
