| I don't know how long this question has been out there for, however it just crossed my mind. For First-Person games, like a Military Group Place. How could we create a SurfaceGUI Team Change? |

I haven't worked with them for a very long time. But it's pretty much just like a GUI, but for the whole server to see and interact with globally.
To be honest I'm not entirely sure how to get the player from the MouseButton1Down event, since it's located on the server. An idea here is to keep the SurfaceGUI's parented to each client's PlayerGui, so each player has a unique GUI for them to use.
Just set the adornee of it and you're good to go. Then you can call this function from the client and do as you please:
YourSurfaceGui.YourButton.MouseButton1Down:connect(function()) print("hi") end)
Pretty sure this would work for ya. |
