it's OK
in terms of the house building it's more improved and I like the emotion system
however the main thing that kills it for me is the lack of open worlds and no create a style |

| Would you consider it better or worse than The Sims 3? |

| TS4 runs better, but there are less family interactions than what I wish for. TS2 is good if you're into families. I don't really miss open worlds since loading screens go so quickly but CAS would be amazing to have again. |

| Also you have to remember ts3 base wasn't that great. Expansions made it better. I'm sure that ts4 will be better than ts3 in a couple of years. |

I wished 4 had Supernatural, Island Paradise, and Into the Future. On the bright side though, Vampires is being released tomorrow.

Vampires is probably a sign they'll have supernatural in the future. Island Paradise and Into The Future may or may not come, it just depends on what the community wants the most in the future. Right now they're focusing on pets/seasons.
I play TS4 with most expansions/gamepacks and it's becoming better and better with every update. |

@cas
I just have Get To Work, City Living, and Holiday free pack and it already is great. With every pack I added it just got even more fun, and I have every pack on my wishlist. I plan on adding Vampires at the end of the month, and Get Together in a couple of months.

I have Get to Work, Get Together, Outdoor retreat and Spa Day. It felt sort of boring until they added toddlers (In a free patch as well, that's a bonus) but the game's starting to feel pretty full and fun now.
Get Together adds more interactions between groups which is very appreciated, it also shows that they care about improving that part of the game. All in all I think sims 4 is going to end up being the best, quality and content wise. |
