I'm GLAD YOU ASKED!
"what happens if the mexican fellas bring a ladder"
double fencing prevents ladders. Also, if it's a wall, we can put censors on the wall that would allow the CBP to get there ASAP.
"tunnels"
AN EASY SOLUTION TO TUNNELS: CENSORS!
On the Iraqi-Saudi Wall, they put censors in to stop tunnels, and the wall (more of a double-fence) is described as 100% efficient. |

OK!
"Explosives" A double-fenced wall with barbed wire, EXACTLY what the Iraqi-Saudi border wall has, would stop them. After they breach the first fence, the CBP would already be there to detain them.
"Boats" We can, with new technology, use satellites to detect boats and then subsequently have the coast guard arrive at that location.
"Blimps" Irrelevant, an illegal blimp would be quickly detained once it's taken down. How often do you see blimps? I'll cover more of this in the planes section.
"Planes" Yes, 40% of illegal immigr-nts that come over here do so on overstayed visas. At least with an overstay we can track who is coming into the United States, we can make sure whoever does get through is background tested, and not carrying contagious diseases. We can’t do that with the other 60%. We can have strict visa punishments to reduce this number.
"Parkour" When someone can jump 20+ feet, get past a barbed wire, and jump 20+ feet again, this argument would be relevant. |

Let me cover two more problems for free:
Environment- Do the environmental effects of a wall still concern you? If so, it doesn’t need to. If we have sedimentation problems, then we can create tunnels allowing for the free flow of water. Animal crossings that can detect humans can be implanted into the wall. It is very easy to mitigate with a few tweaks one we begin to notice the problems. Hundreds of thousands of illegals crossing the border does far more ecological damage than building a wall.
Native American Land- What about a wall intersecting native American land? The wall would go through only three native American reservations. Some claim that a wall going through native american lands would be devastating. Interstates are built and divide land all over the United States, making it possible to cross in only a few areas. However, if a tribe insists that a wall must not be built, then the border wall can run on the northern perimeter of the tribal lands, and the port of entry could be between the tribal lands and the United States. |

You have any idea how much that would cost taxpayers?
Sorry, my $20 per hour isn't going toward a damn wall that won't even last a year. |

"if a guard falls off the wall onto the other side"
If this were to be so, the CBP officer could call into the HQ and subsequently have a helicopter arrive at his or her location.
"will he treated as one of the mexican fellas or can he get back onto american soil"
If he was to fall off, which would probably be impossible, due to a guard rail most likely, they would only be in Mexican soil for a few minutes. |

"You have any idea how much that would cost taxpayers?"
What a PITIFUL argument.
pitiful.
A wall can be very affordable. What we need to do is something very similar to the wall on Iraq-Saudi border. It is near 100% effective, very cheap, and can allow for almost no negative environmental impact. The wall I propose would cost a few billion to build, and $1.1 Billion to maintain. The budget for the Department of Homeland Security is about $60.8 billion, so $1.1 billion would be is a small part of the budget. Costs would be repaid if it reduced illegal immigration costs by even a half percent. Also, we $5 Billion on taxpayer's money each year for deportations, we wouldn't have to do that if we built a wall.
Conclusion: A wall would make PROFIT!, thus helping the taxpayers in the end.
ALSO, MEXICO IS PAYING FOR IT!
How?
"Mexico must pay for the wall and, until they do, the United States will, among other things: impound all remittance payments derived from illegal wages; increase fees on all temporary visas issued to Mexican CEOs and diplomats; increase fees on all border crossing cards – of which we issue about 1 million to Mexican nationals each year (a major source of visa overstays); increase fees on all NAFTA worker visas from Mexico (another major source of overstays); and increase fees at ports of entry to the United States from Mexico [Tariffs and foreign aid cuts are also options]." -Trump's plan. So yes, Mexico doesn’t have an option. They’re paying for the wall.

"health and safety risks during the actual construction?"
Unlikely, because of the wall being a modern design, like the Saudi-Iraq wall.
"or illegal ########## getting over during construction?"
Easy solution. HEAVILY increased CBP and national gaurd during it's construction. |

| The Wall is completely worthless because not only are there a thousand and one ways to get around the wall, but because of the fact that most undocumented ########## don't cross the border illegally, they simply acquire a visa and then overstay on said visa. |
