I got a report not to long ago that someone's account had been taken after downloading a crx file, and they came to me asking about it. So it seems like a good time to send out a some information about being cautious when you download stuff.
CRX files are like zipped up chrome extensions, if you download them and run them it's just like installing an extension from the chrome store. The only difference is when it installs it doesn't ask for permission, it's considered a development extension (correct me if I'm wrong.) And as I've said before, and I'll say it again any chrome extension that has access to roblox.com basically has access to your entire ROBLOX account.
Other things to be cautious about downloading are exes, jar files, and anything that asks you to run a program on your computer. Make sure you know what you're downloading before you download, and run it!
If you find anyone that's asking you to download a chrome extension, crx/jar/exe file through private messages and they're impersonating someone please report it. If they're impersonating me, or asking you to install a chrome extension please private message me about it, and I'll block the extension through ROBLOX+, and report the user. Thank you!
