~* You stood among the crowds; fear, concern, and hatred rushed through your mind as you stepped forward. You straightened your clothes and carefully placed a few slips of paper into the bowl. Those slips of paper contained both your name and your fate, and as soon as you dropped them in you were promptly wedged between two people from your District. The announcer, after several moments of waiting, would prance forward, looking like a tropical bird darting towards the microphone. The announcer would give a slight smile along with the speech, "Now that we have all of the names in the bowls its time to pick our tributes!" said he/she. The announcer reached a hand into a bowl and shouted a name in his/her shrill Capitol accent. The person stepped forward and was practically dragged onto the stage. The announcer would then unfold another paper and his/her lips parted to speak. You waited to see which person would take on the role of a tribute in the Games. The announcer looked out into the crowd, grinned like a cheerful fool, and called out a name-- your name. The Peacekeepers dashed forward and shoved you onto stage, placing you on the opposite side of the other tribute. You looked at eachother, doomed. You were about to be forced into possibly the worst ordeal of your life, and it was called the Hunger Games. *~
>Rules:<
~No. 1~ If you haven't read Suzanne Collins's trilogy the Hunger Games (at least one book in it) or watched the movies, please do some research upon it before joining.
~No. 2~ No vulgar/inappropriate behaviour, swearing, or such things. Also please avoid tags in a post by previewing it. And avoid too much "love RP" and references to it [ROBLOX's rules.]
~No. 3~ Refrain from making Mary Sues (perfect characters) or power-playing/god-modding. When making your character include just a few flaws along with talents.
~No. 4~ Do not refer to characters found in the books/movies such as Katniss Everdeen, Peeta Mellark, or etc. And when the Games end, please don't attempt a Nightlock Berry Stunt, it would be a terrible lore-break.
~No. 5~ I won't directly interact with your characters in person, however, I play as the Head Gamemaker and the only Gamemaker. Don't take it as tyranny, but if I say you died of a snowstorm, you died of a snowstorm. Or [if a traitor in the Capitol or something] you were stabbed by a dagger, you were stabbed. In or outside the Games.
~No. 6~ You cannot team with too many tributes, it's simply impossible and ruins the entire RP; also, use only one character at a time per person unless your character actually dies you can then take on a role as another tribute as long as there are not/were not 25 tributes. If so, play as a spectator/sponsor in the Capitol. (Just don't spam sponsor gifts, please.)
>Character Sheet:< Delete the tips in sidebars and try to remember them, they are simply there to help it seem more realistic.
/Name: [Including surname and first, middle is optional; please let the name relate somewhat to your District or History.] /Gender: [Only 1 male or female from the same District to avoid lore-break and confusion. Don't worry, you could also make a spectator if you don't like any of the remaining choices.] /Age: [12-18, unless a Capitol spectator.] /District: [1-12, 13 is destroyed.] /Details: [Please be realistic, no ridiculous heights e.g. 6'9.8; outfit is enforced as jumpsuit for tributes and unnecessary for Capitol spectators since they can change it. However, tributes can bring with them one small trinket that isn't qualified as a weapon; and try to stand out with some unique detail such as an awkward scar.] /Skills: [Just list a few e.g. Archery or Foraging, let it relate distantly to where you were raised.] /Flaws: [Even Careers are far from perfect, list a few things such as short-temper to balance out your Skills.] /History: [Just include a few basic details of your character's past.]
~Do this all and see if you're accepted; once accepted we'll wait until we have enough tributes then begin roleplaying! Excuse the exceeding amount of 'tips', they are there because I want to keep it close to the lore. The RP will begin with you being tested in front of me and the NPC Gamemakers, then we'll move on from there. I simply make/narrate the major points in RP, okay?~
Most importantly...-'Happy roleplaying and may the odds be ever in your favour!' |

I'm here.
Name:Logan F. Jester (too much TOS)
Gender:Male
Age:14
District: 5
Details: Logan is terribly small for his age. He is 4'1", and around 105 pounds. He has had some sort of animal with sharp teeth bite him on his right arm, a little above the elbow, although he has no recollection of this. Logan has black hair and hazel eyes. His hair is messy, but somewhat nice, as well.
Skills: Growing up from Boston, he has this amazing ability to talk his way out of things.(with humans, I mean.) He has a knack for fist fighting, as well. Before he was dragged into the Hunger Games, he was known around his school for starting fights with older kids. Most of the time, he won.
Flaws: He has an EXTREMELY SHORT TEMPER. He's also bad at using ranged weapons, like a bow, perhaps. He also loses all common sense when his temper tantrums start. Example:Logan is mad. He sees a griever. He will attempt to kill it. He will not win, unless with 1 other person to stop him from his death. Logan also has mild autism, so he cannot recognize what is safe, and what is not. Of course, unless he starts to realize he can't beat it, aka 1v1-ing a griever. He will start to realize he can't win, and he will flee.
History: I can't really think of anything. Just imagine an ordinary kid, growing from age 1 to 13, until on his 14th birthday, he is taken by the Hunger Game peoples, or whatever. |

| I'll join! | Name: Jack Doormen | Gender: Male | Age: 14 | ######### 6 | Details: Think of an average 14 year old kid's weight and height. He has dirty blond hair, with a scar on his cheek from being attacked by his dog, Spike. | Skills: He is good at taming animals, since he lives on a farm, he can craft daggers, and he is resourceful | Flaws: He can't be away from Spike for a three days, but he can't bring Spike with him, so he can get depressed at times, he also is afraid of heights. | History: He lives on a farm, and he helps out with the animals. His pet Spike has been by his side since he was 5. | |

| (Is this roleplay going to be solely PvP until there's one winner by chance and the roleplay creator's favor, or is it going to be more in-depth, like the books? I mean, I know that most of these type of things ignore canon events so that they make their own, but will their be more plot in the coming posts? I want a long-term kind of deal here before I start making a character.) |

| [This is, yes, based off of the books. This is currently part one of the roleplay, the actual Games. And it depends quite a lot on the players, I simply add in natural disasters/muttations to help terminate some of the tributes and set up major events. You can as well be a spectator/designer/sponsor in the Capitol if you wish, but there will be less action. I prefer that there be only one victor, to avoid lore-break, since Katniss and Peeta were called the first ever Two Victors in the trilogy. Nothing works entirely in one person's favour, such as the lore goes. Is this the information you requested or something more?] |

(This answers my questions, yes. I suppose a character is in order.)
Name: Milus Varundar (There is no named tributes other than Titus in the series, so I couldn't specify a perfect name)
Gender: Male
Age: 16
District: 6 (Transportation)
Details: A scrawny person made of more sinew than fat, Milus stands at an inch below six feet. His face is ovular, built with a strong, pointed chin and drawn in cheeks. A lightweight, Milus is not a fitting description of a physically strong human being. His hair is a lighter shade of brown while his eyes are a murky green. A scar hooks from the top of his right eye to the curve of his left nostril, thin and darker than his otherwise pale skin. Milus is not an ambient person, both a quiet speaker and traveler.
Skills: Milus has a background in mechanical work, given by District 6's development of major transportation. As such, creating items for use is simpler for him than most. Intelligent, Milus possesses a strong memory and understands the inner workings of high-speed trains and hovercrafts.
Flaws: Milus, growing up in the lower middle class of the district, has no experience with weapons of battle. As most of the vehicles created were constructed with machines, actual tools are a rarity in his field. District 6, being a disadvantaged and oppressed region, makes it difficult for any inhabitants to train for the Hunger Games. Aware of the lack of victors (only two morphlings, really!), Milus is already demoralized and aware of his low chances.
History: Milus was raised under a family of five siblings, his father a mechanic while his mother a porter for the train stations. Milus's two brothers earned their way into the ranks of the Peacekeepers, against the Capitol-hating wishes of his parents. Being the youngest of the three brothers, Milus's mind was still vulnerable enough to be molded by this hatred, growing a distance from his older brothers. As his adolescence began, Milus's father began to teach his son about the vehicles that District 6 constructed, wanting the man to carry on his trade after he retired. Once the Reaping occurred, however, this changed.

[@captainpeanut, Accepted! Great job, I'm going to have fun in the Games with you.
But one more thing, @boss, I realised that if you were on a farm most likely you would be District 11? That and we can't have two males from District 6. If you could agree to change that I would be overjoyed.
~Happy Hunger Games, as always~] |
