I'm hiring a scripter for our group, The Sparkle Time Studio.
Our general theme is RPGs but we're eventually going to move on to another genre. Group: https://www.roblox.com/My/Groups.aspx?gid=2618316
I have made 2 games so far: Infinity (pro. as "INFINITY RPG") Crimsonwrath (pro. as "CRIMSON RPG", we usually call this crimson for short)
We need your help to script more complicated things as I only know basics and am already getting into for i= loops
I normally make 130k-ish per month from these games, but Infinity is starting to get to it's limits and we need help on scripting.
I may not have a request for a bit but that's because we are trying to finish off Crimson as I want to push past the lag limits by adding game universes and to make another universe where players can keep playing, then they can return to the original place if they want to heal or fight in the dungeon. You should go check them out; we have a moderately active fanbase and I need your help to keep them entertained as I no longer have as much time to develop on them.
My old scripter quit for an unknown reason and we need a new one, payment will go by each creation / script you make. We miss him much and I will never get over it but it's gotta happen. Please reply if you would like to take the job.
Thank you VERY much - Owner of development group "The Sparkle Time Studio"

I got nothing better, I'll develop. I can use ModuleScripts, quite a bit of Data-Store, and I can apply various things to games, such as DevProducts, (Monthly VIP Systems), etc.
I'm also willing to accept minimum pay. And am very willing to put forth the time and effort if need be so. |

Also before someone attacks me on here, I'm new to scripting and mostly just need experience, and said that it's cool if they underpay me. |

no they shouldn't
1. they don't know some stuff, so they take way longer 2. they get stuck on problems, and it takes them longer to figure them out 3. since they don't know some things, they need to search it up and learn how to use it, which takes time
so no, they shouldn't be paid.

So they should not be paid for their hard work because they take more time to do stuff done? I would never work for someone like you... What kind of logic is that?

exactly, they should be doing it for experience, not for robux.
why would you want to hire a beginner, vs someone who is experienced?

@Disillusions I get what you're saying, but I'm not new to programming or anything, just scripting for roblox. It's a matter of just getting a hang of the different APIs and such, which I've been doing for like a week so far. I'm able to do relatively intermediate/advanced stuff pretty easily and just need some more practice. I can make whatever they ask for and have it done well (I'm not gonna give them some sad excuse for whatever they ask for, I'll keep going until I think it matches standards that I'd actually enjoy playing with), it just make take longer since I have to reference the documentation a bit more, etc.
If all else fails and turns out I've been living a lie about my scripting skills, it's not like I'm gonna force them to pay me lol. |

then get more practice, and then attempt to be hired.
if you start out as a beginner, the person who hired you will probably tell others of your skill level, and that could affect who hires you, even though you have gotten better.

"why would you want to hire a beginner, vs someone who is experienced?"
How do you want them to gain experience if they never work? No one is willing to work for free unless the person has too much time on his hands... You are basically saying that we should stop hiring new employees... Anyway I'm out.

beginners should set their OWN goals first, when they have proof of their experience (games, showcases, etc) then people will be more willing to hire them.

| In my PM, I warned him that I'm a beginner. If he goes around saying "oh man this guy sucks" to people he's just an @hoel. Even if he does say that, it can just be resolved by sending whoever I apply to in the future a video or gif or something of my improved work. Besides, I'm not as bad as most people starting out and I have been getting some practice, so I applied because I thought I was ready. |
