She gets excited and runs through my chair and my cord was right there. Then the cord is yanked and my headphones fly off and slam into the floor. She does it ALOT, and I punish her everytime but she doesn't listen. And this time my $20 pair of headphones slammed into the floor, I tested to see if they worked, they didn't. I am pissed at my dog and want to kill her.

idc what phones I have as long as I hear good audio quality. I am so mad at my dog, the problem is if I kill her someone will notice.

you could play sound through your headphones, and bend the cable different ways, it could just be a short
if thats the case, duct tape the cord in a way that doesn't short
= safe doggie :D

I already tried different ways but its not the computer plug its the inside of the headphones that need repair.

I worked 3 hours for the pair of headphones. 3 hours of my life wasted just for my dog to kill my headphones.

same here, except it was a crappy wireless headset and i purposely smashed the right earcup on a bedpost it felt good no regerts

My dog is fine, I fixed my headphones with some soldering. Now its electrical taped telephone cable headphones. It looks funny.

| If the method of punishing doesn't seem to work anymore, I think it's time you try a new approach. My quick example is rewarding her whenever she doesn't interact with the headphones. But you want to make sure she is aware that she isn't interacting with it. |
