I'm not quite sure what you're asking. Welding works exactly how it sounds. When you weld one part to another, it, in a sense, glues the two parts together.

Oh, I see. Weld the knife to the player's Torso or HumanoidRootPart then.

local function weldBetween(a, b) local weld = Instance.new("Weld") weld. Part 0 = a weld. Part 1 = b weld. C0 = a.CFrame:inverse() * b.CFrame weld. Parent = a end game.Players.PlayerAdded:connect(function(player) player.CharacterAdded:connect(function(character) local knife = game.Workspace.BasicKnife.Handle:Clone() knife.CFrame = character:WaitForChild("Right Leg").CFrame*CFrame.new(Vector3.new(0.26,0.55,0))*CFrame.Angles(-45,math.rad(-180),math.rad(180)) knife.Parent = character weldBetween(character:WaitForChild("Right Leg"), knife) end) end) |

If you want to make it easy, just make the welded knife invisible while the player has another knife equipped. I'm not entirely sure how to do the whole arm position welding thing. I've never tried to make my own non-tool custom weapons before. :P
If you do want to use a tool, though, it'll make things quite a bit easier.
