| Throughout the 21st century, Roblox has continually evolved. Starting out as dynoblox, to eventually becoming Roblox, which then developed an odd community of memes and developer pranks, and finally becoming more of a corporate moneymaking business rather than nearly completely free as it had once been. Sure, they hide it under the guise of being free by allowing access to games (which is actually pretty good), and with the occasionally free item, but from the start of the removal of tickets and builders club only games, along with paid access, it no longer remains as free as it once was. However, these updates can all be perceived in a positive way, as Roblox is becoming more of a real platform than it once was. But recently, instead of the childish and playful updates the company once did, they have moved on to making Roblox a real corporation, making the logo less "warm" to a more cold, flat design similar to that of apple or google. It seems apparent that Roblox is moving away from purely catering to children in order to shed away the opinion that Roblox is a rip off of other block-type games, even going as far as to create action figures and toys. Overall, most of Roblox's updates have been good for the community. As much as I miss the old logo, it's time to move on an accept that Roblox is slowly beginning to change from its original child-like state. That's all. I apologize for any typos, as I am writing this from my phone. |

i'm gonna be honest. this is a failing attempt to try and be the 'different' one. plenty of reasons behind it, from sucking up to the mods to just baiting, but yeah. that's what it is.
you apparently can't accept the fact that roblox really has started the poision. |

ROBLOX only ever existed in the 21st century... Also, they weren't good for the community, the updates were only good for THEMSELVES

ROBLOX, is like a red Giant star. It is massive, but to get there it exhausted most of it's fuel, which is fresh ideas and content, but will Go Boom and fizzle into nothing. but then, its ideas will create new games. |

| Roblox is a platform. The users create the real ideas and the meat of the website and games. Also, to the fellow above, what exactly is the riddled logic that you see? Point out the flaws and I will correct them. |

| Anajay, that's not completely true. Some decisions may seem hard to understand, but running a corporation is far harder than you'd think, especially one as complex as Roblox. Sacrifices must be made in order to further the overall system. Are you telling me updates like smooth terrain as well as attempts to attract a more teenage community are bad? (Yes, I know Roblox is making toys, but they are technically a kid's website/platform and must obviously appeal to their younger community which makes more revenue). |

Roblox used to be referred as a lego and minecraft rip off. Im like Roblox(2006) came before Minecraft(2009), but after legos

side note, for a 'kids game' their image/place moderation team is doing a horrible job.

| What? I'm defending them because they are making moves in the general right direction. While a lot of people are nostalgic over the old logo, I'm adapting to the times as they begin to make changes in the right direction. Roblox knows that it is primarily a kid's platform. However, they do realize that they have a large teenage community, and are therefore also subtly appealing to that side. And yes, Roblox is not a minecraft rip off, but it's sadly been given that reputation despite having been made first. |

| Again, moderation and whatnot is obviously limited, and can be affected heavily by human error. However, I'm sure systems will be set in place in future updates to prevent filterpasses. |

| So everything you don't understand is bait? Also, I don't get what you don't understand. Roblox was founded before minecraft. |
