Give us the ability to edit or remove gravity in our places, now before you say that this is all scriptable and has been done i want you to know that this method may cause severe lag if it's applied on a large scaled environment, by that i mean having tons of parts and changing every part's pull by inserting BodyForces into them.
It is also hard to make this method work because most of the people can't script, while ROBLOX could easily give us this option.
This feature will allow more applications for sci-fi games because of the 0G and maybe for others game genres as well where you would want the gravity to be stronger/weaker such as for obbies and FPS games. An example that was mentioned in the blog: www.roblox.com/Jetpack-Showcase-place?id=13823012
I also want to let you know that the performances of games that will use 0G will increase because the game core wouldn't have to take care of the pull of parts in Workspace. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Now this is the first and very basic concept, what follows next is an idea that many players of the sci-fi community would really appreciate. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Introduce two new objects that could be inserted into parts and "emit" gravity with different pull power and range. The first object will attract you to the adjustable side of a part. Example: www.roblox.com/Gravity-Cube-place?id=55703517
The second one will attract you to the center of that part. Example mentioned in the blog: www.roblox.com/Galaxy-Wars-Under-construction-place?id=55703461

| Unsupported. Already have the edittable hover pad and admin commands that alter the gravity that can be scripted into a smaller scale, If you are having lag then keep it at a small scale. |

| I think the ability to edit gravity would bring up more variety in ROBLOX places, so support this. |

| I think this would be a great idea. It seems that the ROBLOX physics engine would be able to handle most settings, but gravity adjustments would need a limit. |

| This would literally change Roblox forever if this was implemented. So many games would be better and more interesting. But also.... It might make things a LOT more complicated and make some people wonder which way is actually up... |

I'm pretty sure that ROBLOX had such a setting at one point... too many years of changes has made me forget for sure.
Either way, I support it fully. Having a single setting in WorkSpace for the pull of gravity would be extremely helpful in quite a number of cases. |

| Normally I'd support this, but after seeing first-hand how crappy ROBLOX's physics really are, I'd suggest holding off until they update their physics engine. |

Two of the repliers said someone already did it and non of them really understand the post. I like Roblox and I support this to make it better. |

The majority of good games have a large scale with tons of maps. Do you really want to limit roblox and game developers creativity by forcing them to have the smallest universes possible? Look at hydra's game, 15 people can have gigantic spaceships. Trying to script that would render the game unplayable, but with maybe a month roblox could make this lag free. Why don't you want an update like this? If you think it would confuse new players, make it default set to regular gravity, like dynamic lighting. |

He wants to make it so that things can float, or be pulled in like crazy by planets. Anchorng STOPS THINGS FROM MOVING e_e.
Oh, and support. |
