That way you can just tell Studio to pull up all scripts by a certain name on one screen, and make them all the same to fix them all at once.
You know, in case ROBLOX decides to change a class name again (hats to accessories!? Why did you change that?) it's quicker to fix my literately over 1000 pokemon morphs... (There's shinies, and toontown stuff, and smash bros characters, etc. too... One of them is Gabe Newell.) |

if you have a ton of scripts with the same content you're just an inefficient scripter

@UnSub: Well, it's not like you can just make a universal script for multiple models, now can you?
Otherwise I would be doing that! |

"Well, it's not like you can just make a universal script for multiple models, now can you?" that's worded weirdly what's your situation

| You can do a global search through all scripts in a game. |

@UnSUb: They're morphs. Each one morphs you into something different.
WHen you touch one of the morph buttons you get morphed into that thing.
Basically, I have to go under each button, and change the script in that one.
There's over 1000. It's annoying.
It's not exaclty the "same" thing. It's different looks for each button. |

@theta: But you can't pull it up in one tab, and change all of them on that one screen at once.
That's what I'm suggesting. |

here's an example (it would be easier if you placed each morph into its respective button)
local Players = game:GetService("Players")
local morphs = workspace:WaitForChild("Morphs")
for _, button in next, morphs:GetChildren() do button.Touched:Connect(function(part) local player = Players:GetPlayerFromCharacter(part.Parent) if player then local morph = button.Morph -- finish code end end) end
if you don't want to put an object inside every button you can still have a reference to the ID/object in a table of course it's going to take time to set up but it's much more efficient

@Unstop: What?
Dude, I'm just trying to fix the built in hat- sorry... ACCESSORY remover in the morphs.
But really, you can't have a script A go into script B and get functions from script B. |

it's disgustingly inefficient to have a script inside each button that removes your accessories, the point of that script is to reference where all buttons are stored and apply a function to EVERY single one so you only need to use one script
since events behave similarly to coroutines it will work fine

And before you say anything about that one thing that acts like remote events, ask RT about how those are broken, and what happened last time I tried using those.
ROBLOX breaks EVERYTHING of theirs. :/ |

@UnSub: No... they don't... I tried getting playback loudness to go from local to server... It. Did. Not. Work.
Everyone in RT said there was nothing wrong with my script too... everyone that decided to reply. :/ |

you're not understanding my point there may not be anything wrong with your script from a functionality standpoint but when you get down to efficiency it's really bad practice to use that many scripts for something that can be done with only one
all I'm doing is showing you a better way to achieve your goal, and to answer your original post, there is not currently a way to amend all scripts (that I know of)
if you did it the efficient way your solution would've only taken 5 seconds

@Unsub: Ok, events don't work, so... Yeah.
Also, to be honest I'm trying to fix a game that my friend gave me when he quit ROBLOX.
I mean... Just look. :/
