Errh...
Still not a fan of manual garbage collection. And the header files... Simply a struggle.
C# all the way! Mixture of Java, C and other ez ones = best. |

assembly brought us to the moon, dont forget that ;)
also header files can be automated, and you can literally code ANYTHING with basic tools and copy+past (Operating Systems, kernels, device drivers, as well as more advanced things like optical recognition etc. )
stay mad c++ kiddies ;)

| You should try making your own theme. |

"Assembly brought us to the moon"
C++ can do it too.
However assembly is extremely lightweight while C++ is not so lightweight.

Takes up very little space.
That's what I meant by lightweight.
If you disagree, have you seen the assembly based operating systems that take up under a megabyte?

That is not what lightweight means. Please go back, look up what lightweight programming language means, then correct yourself. |

"A lightweight programming language is one that is designed to have very small memory footprint"
Certain forms of assembly do fall under that definition.

A lightweight programming language is one that is designed to have very small memory footprint, is easy to implement (important when porting a language), and/or has minimalist syntax and features.
Examples of lightweight languages[edit] Lua is embedded in many applications, like games, to provide runtime scripting capabilities Forth JavaScript Squirrel newLisp Stub icon This programming-language-related article is a stub. You can help Wikipedia by expanding it.

@xxshadow You're leaving out "and is easily implemented" If you knew anything about ASM, you'd know it is very subjective and there are many forms of it. You'd need to find a correct processor to link your ASM code. |
