You pick a really good team when they are good, but forever stick with them.
I'd like to see the SF's stance on this, would they be a bandwagon and how long? |

| Well I picked the eagles in 2004 during the superbowl when I was 6, I didn't pick them because they were good but I picked them when they were good but for trivial reasons because I was so young. And here I am |

It would be a bandwagon for the duration of their success unless it was low key success
The only example of low key success I can think of right now are the Red Wings. 20 something year playoff streak, but they haven't made the Cup Finals since '09 |

I mean, yeah, it's not like you knew any better since you were much younger. And I can kind of relate to that sort of thing. When I first started paying attention to the NFL, I of course chose the Lions as my favorite team, but along with that I also started to like the Steelers as kind of my second favorite team after they won the SB in the 2005-2006 season. (Actually, I think that SB game between the Steelers and Seahawks was the first pro football game I saw; shame I only saw parts of it, though, and not the whole thing.) Even though I made the Lions my favorite team, there was just something about the Steelers I kind of liked... not quite sure how to put it. Still, again, Lions are my #1 team, but that's sort of the story as to why I made the Steelers my #2 team. |
