BillBoardGui is not a valid member of Part
it definitelly is var.BillBoardGui.Enabled = false
thought I could skip adornees and just modify an already existing thing locally?

| Nope, you need to send a remoteevent to a server to change it for you. Otherwise no one else would see the change in the billboard gui |

have you tried checking if the billboard gui is there client sided (test live via studio)? try using waitforchild

I always assumed billboards would work locally, but I guess you have to have some remote server-client interactions depending on what you want to do...
