| So it works when using arrow keys to move or when pressing any button on your keyboard other than WASD? That seems strange. I was thinking that you may have a setting checked in your mouse settings, I'm not sure what it's called. |

| You would want to still check your mouse settings, as there are other modes. |

| In game settings, there's an option called "Mouse Lock", untick that box, see if that helps. |

I've had this problem before. These steps should solve it:
1.Go to Control Panel and click on "View devices and printers". 2.Right click on the picture of the laptop and then click "Mouse settings". 3.On the menu that pops up click on "Device Settings" and then click "Settings". 4.Click on the arrow beside "Sensitivity" and then click on "PalmCheck"(It might be called "SmartSense"). 5.Slide the bar on the right all the way to minimum and click "Ok".
I'm assuming you're using Windows 7, by the way. |

Try this:
1.Open "Control Panel" and click on the mouse icon. 2.Click on "TouchPad Settings" and then on "ClickPad Settings". 3.Click the arrow beside "Pointing" in the menu that pops up and then click the gear icon beside "PalmCheck-Enhanced". 4.Drag the slider all the way to off and then click "Close".
That should do it. |

| I found this info on a random article. I'm not sure if it works as I don't have a Windows 8 to test it on. |

Whenever i'm walking with the arrow keys in first-person view, the screen wont move with the mouse as i'm walking. It only works when I stop walking. It even happens when i'm zoomed out. I'm on Windows 8.1 Pro.
WHAT DO I DO! |

| For Windows 10: go to control panel, search for mouse, Click on change mouse settings, then to hardware, then to settings, then find palm check(may be under a drop down box or arrow) and click the little gear, then turn it to a minimum. Hope this helps, also sorry it was confusing! |

| Sorry I'm late, do the things that he said (panel, search mouse) then click on Mouse Click Settings, not Mouse Settings, now go to ELAN touchpad ( that's what I have). Click on options, go to additional, adjust the settings down low. This should work for when you hold down W, I tried using it while holding down W and S but it didn't work too well. Hope this helps. |
