game.ServerStorage.Ships:wait() its in a local script, filtering enable is off (I'm pretty sure) and it's telling me that serverstorage is not a valid member of DataModel. Could anyone help me figure this out? |

You do not need a WaitForChild for anything in the Server Storage.
game:GetService("ServerStorage")["Ships"]:GetChildren()

Wait nevermind, don't use Server Storage if your using a local script.

| Thx, for some reason serverstorage works with localscripts in studios and it was killing to to figure it out. Thx everyone. |

| So what would I use as a replacement for ServerScriptService if I wana have a localscript run a modulescript's function? |

Preferably, replicated storage / but you can use Lighting.

Local test in studio bundles everything into a local client. Never use it to test, if you can - It has the wrong physics and creates unknown errors.

there's a way to run a server and client simultaneously on the same machine (but different things)
its essentially the same thing as joining the game
Toolbox>Test>Start
my dps (dabs per seconds) is roughly 0x539, get on my level :) |

You don't NEED to use GetService on serverstorage. Its already part of the data model. And that isnt the problem here.
