| Don't you work at a fast food restaurant? I'd figure those are easy jobs tbh |

fast food is easy, and it's fun too, you just gotta find the right place to work at.
people will always be crappy and hard to deal with, but you're paid to deal with crappy people, so get use to it. |

| I found the best job in the entire world. Work on a campaign. (paid of course). I'm 13 and my friends and I bike over/get dropped off and we walk pre-syncs and do mail and we make a good $20 a day for it. |

@Sov
Is that even legally allowed?
Like I'm pretty sure nobody under 14 is allowed to work in the USA...
I think... |

| Its essentially volunteer work, but it is paid. As long as the child agrees which I do. It gives me things for my resume, and experience for the field I want to go into. |

@splashes
I understand that, but like, that's pretty young. I live in NC, and when I applied for my job, I had to sign a page from NC's Department of Labor stating that me and my employer will not allow me to do certain things for my company.
Now ofcourse, for the sake of being able to get crap done quickly, I don't follow some of the rules, like my ability to not use a ladder, or trash/cardboard compactor (im 17 and need to be 18)
But on that list, if you're 14-15, you like can't do anything, pretty much. no machinery operation, not even step ladder operation, it's like, nothing.
That's why im asking, lol. |

It's legal for babies to work m8.
It's legal for any age.
Just need permits and stuff depending on age, or a right-to-work state...
The only restrictions are the companies who place them themselves. I personally have been working since I was 11... AND I know the BEST jobs :) |

@sad
I've had a job in a warehouse since I was 15, I've always been using cardboard compactors, ladders, pallet lifters etc.
Honestly my job would be pretty useless if I couldn't do any of that stuff lol |

@damien
And that's the thing, i just don't hear about people younger than 16 employed in NC, from all my list of extended friends.
Especially not from the company i work for, because their investment in a 15 year old with the labor laws we have would make them pointless. |

Switch from fast food to a dine-in restaurant.
I work as a waiter and it's pretty fun, apart from the cleaning. If you have the personality for it, you'll enjoy greeting people in and having a short little chat- mostly depends what kind of restaurant you work in.
if it's ethnic cuisine it will be 100% more different as opposed to some regular american grill or whatever |
