"they're crushed between 15 other equally tiny apartments"
not all apartments are "tiny" some are quite spacious, you're just thinking of the one's in downtown detroit where you live.

Eh, not sure. My preference goes back and fourth. A house is bigger. A suburb is nicer looking. There's more space. You can make a lot of noise and probably no one can hear you, so singing is a viable option.
But an apartment, you feel less visible, which I like. If you're on an upper floor, the view can be really cool. And you don't gotta deal with a whole lot of snow shoveling in the Winter. Others usually take care of that.
Someone mentioned firearm. Not really an option here in Canada. Don't see why I'd want one anyways. It'd be scary having a gun in the house. |

have you ever tried throwing something down on the people on the street? it could be like a game, you could use watermelons and just see how the people react and how long it takes before somebody notices and you could blame it on the neighbor under or beside you |

"Jobs, you peasant"
save some money and get a car instead, then you can simply drive into the city where your job is from your house |

"all those things are outside the city too though"
depends on what job you have entirely
apartment life in the city isnt suited for everyone but for some people it fits their niche perfectly and that happens to be a lot of people i guess |
