Does this RPG have potential?

Been making a RPG forawhile and never showed to anyone but a few people, just wanted to see people thoughts on it: https://www.roblox.com/games/432945766/Excursion-InDev

I would appreciate your feedback or your opinion on it.

These are some things I already know or you should know:
-Everything is on Default Stats(Including Mobs and Items)
-Yes Ik the GUIs are pretty ugly, one of my main priorities in the future
-The Dialogue Range distance is bad, I made it show forever for mobile Users to revisit Chats, but people didn't like that so will change that to show when inRange.
-The Animations for Weapons are "eh" due to they are pretty old. I am planning to revamp the attacks and walking and idle animation but they are not on the top of my list
-I added all the Items into the Inventory when you first join just to test the Items out (so ignore that)

The first thing I would say to change to make the number of times you have to click new file down to two or three and warn you it will delete old data. Also I don't see the filter necessary for the character customization, as it would be better to show the player without filters because the game doesn't have a filter on it, also I think every class should have at least one disadvantage, expect for civilian which is a neutral, as I saw alchemist didn't have a disadvantage.

Moving on for character customization, I think the first chapter the player plays should be chapter one and the first part the intro, but that's kind of a nitpick. There should be a skip dialogue button and I think in certain situations (talking with people and such) the game should lock you in place, and I think you forgot to remove the to be continued thing.

Overall this isn't a bad game but could use some suggestions and improving.

Not bad! My only suggestion is to make the GUIs at the start more "simple," like include, when you are looking at perks, click on the name of the perk to select, I got stuck there. Keep at it though!

When I joined the game there was a filter on the character customization screen, like a purplish hue.

Oh that was lighting and LightingEffects, maybe will change in the future didn't think it would affect people.

Fix the quest arrow, Arrow is a little glitchy trying to lead you to places. Houses have too much exterior work on them in my opinion. Other than that everything looks really good and after the bugs and a few things are fixed, I would defiantly invest into this game!!

I suggest making use of preloading and making the quest arrow run smoother. Perhaps use RenderStepped? The surfaceGUIs when you click the items in the beginning shop are really cool! I think your blur effect glitched out somewhere when I attempted to interact with a GUI? prnt scr /drx3vi
I love the health rings above the player's and enemys' heads. I like the little loot thing when they die, except when scrolled in, you can only see the surfacegui of it. I don't like the cheering sound when you kill an enemy because it seems unnatural and it's just kind of annoying. The ball of light that fluctuates around when they die is also cool but lingers for too long. Also, I just noticed that when it does that you can still see their face decal. I also don't like how you stop in place when you swing your sword. I don't like the toxic barrels in the forest (the acid or whatever around them is fine) because it's out of theme.

That's all the feedback I can give for now. Overall neat game, it'd probably be a good game if it was more polished, had consistent UI, and ran and played smoother.

@flare, ya I could definalty make the Arrow smooth, it was before but I just made it slow in reacting time just incase lag, I'll smoothen it out though.
Also what bugs did you see? Could you describe it so I could try to fix it?

@Wrath, very good advice, I'm going to try to answer everything you listed,

-For the arrow ya, I'm planning on making it smooth again that's an easy fix.
-For the Stats Error, I will look into that. It's most likely I added an Item there that I removed from the ServerStorage. Thanks for that, that was actual the Buying that glitched out not the Blur
-For the Blur, that's suppose to be some realistic effect in the Menu but people don't like it so I'd probably remove it.
-I'd noticed that too about the SurfaceGUI problem, unsure how I'd fix it though. Do you have any suggestions?
-Ohyea the Cheering was suppose to be a FillIn into I got an actual audio. For some reason I play with my audio off so I forget all about audios things. Thanks though will change for sure
-Oh yea the BallOfLight is also a FillIn, still unsure what to replace it with though.
-I've noticed the FaceDecal also, easy fix which is why it wasn't on the top of my list.
-Yea I've adressed the Animations of Weapons in OriginalPost, something I need to improve.
-I thought the Acid fit in with the Map, but to be honest it was just a fill in so the map doesn't look plain. If you have anything to replace it with I'd look into it though.
-I like the Forest Map too :P

I usually don't play with audio either. And I thought the acid was okay but the barrels themselves weren't medieval at all so *shrug*

I also completely forget to address the hotkeys and Inventory/Accessory in the Game and this Thread so here

Q - Equip/Unequip Swords
Z - Use Skill

-AccessoryFunctions
First - For BonusHats, Will be 1 of 2 Hats you can wear
Second - For BonusHats, Will be 1 of 2 Hats you can wear

-InventoryFunctions
Left - Left Arm, can't equip without a Right Item
Right - Right Arm, for Weapons
Drop - You are able to drop 3 items in this game which players can buy
Pickup - You can Pickup all Items dropped if not bought already

-Made Arrow Smooth
-Fixed Crafting Bug ( thx for screenshot )
-Might change Blur in the future but for now I'm going to leave it
-Left the RewardSystem the system as It's not very important atm
-Turned CheeringAudio off until replacement found
-Lowered ShowTime on BallOfLight (Death Particle)
-Removed FaceShowing when Enemy died
-Fixed bug where Chapter1 intro is titled "Chapter 2"
-Lowered NewFile WarningRate by 1

Thanks everyone, I appreciate all the likes,faves,suggestions, and advice given.

I will be ending the public testing for now as I continue to update the game, but if you still would like to test the game as it's being developed you can join the group.
