From what I found from Bulbapedia, it says that there are multiple 000 pokemon but are glitches or creepypastas.
It says there are 5 types of MissingNo:
Red and Blue normal form Yellow normal form Kabutops fossil form Aerodactyl fossil form Ghost form
MissingNo is also reffered to as 'M. It is also reffered to as a "Bird" pokemon for some reason.
'M's cry while in battle appears to be a slightly different version of Zapdos's cry, having a higher pitch, while its cry when viewing its stats is Rhydon's cry.
Again, MissingNo is also called "$" but this time it is in Pokemon Yellow and not Pokemon Red and Blue, which only contains the normal 'M sprite.
$ shares the sprite of Yellow MissingNo., which also has a high tendency of freezing the game.
This next MissingNo is called "?????", and is found in Generation II.
$ and 'M is from Generation I.
????? is a Steel and Glitch pokemon. ????? is found in Generation II games Gold, Silver and Crystal. While ????? is unevolved, it is an FC and it is mainly yellow. Once it is evolved, it is a 00 and it is mainly pink, lavender, black and purple.
Another difference between ????? (FC) and ????? (00) is that ????? (FC) is a Psychic/Glitch. ????? (00) is a Steel/Glitch.
There is also another "question mark" pokemon. ??????????. This glitch has 10 question marks instead of ?????, which only has five. This glitch also has a question mark for it is sprite, with 1 thick white stripe cutting through the black circle the white question mark is in.
?????????? hex 0000 form cannot be obtained, as it disappears from a party when caught. It's only a Normal glitch, not like the other MissingNo, $ and ????? that have 2 types.
In the Generation I and II games, Pokemon index numbers range from 00 to FF, totaling to exactly 256 Pokemon slots available. In the Generation III games, Pokemon index numbers range from 0000 to FFFF, allowing 65536 Pokemon to be defined; however, only 439 (counting Egg, Unown forms, Deoxys Formes, and 25 ?) were defined, filling the remaining 65,097 slots with ?????????? variants.
?????????? is found in games Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, Fire Red, and Leaf Green.
This next glitch is -----, commonly referred to by fans as DPBox or invisible Shiny Bulbasaur, is a Normal-type glitch Pokémon in Generation IV. It has the cry of Bulbasaur and is always Shiny. When sent out by the opponent, its sprite is outside of the frame, so it appears to be invisible.
It is found in games Pokemon Diamond, Pearl, Platinum, HeartGold, and SoulSilver. If the player's party only contains ----- or Eggs, the game will detect that the player has no Pokemon left after that turn ends and cause them to black out.
----- has been found to display a long name, repeating the last letter that appeared and overlapping three times as its name, before the player's Pokémon is sent out.
There are much more Pokemon glitches galore, but don't worry, this is only Part 1!

Sorry about that. I was mainly focusing on other features and not the facts about what the glitch does. May come in Part II, just wait! :)
