local Saves = Instance.new("Folder") Saves.Name = "Saves" Saves.Parent = Player
I have this in a localScript
and it seems to work in Studios but not in player.. Any ideas?
and Player=game.Players.LocalPlayer |

If FE is on and you are trying to do this it will not work.
This is because it is a local script and when FE is on, the client cannot replicate to the server. I.e. the server will not know that you have created the folder.
It only works in test mode because test model isn't exactly a server.
So you need to use a remote event or remote function to handle this instance.

Create a script in ServerScriptService, and add this as the contents:
game.Players.PlayerAdded:connect(function(plr) local Saves = Instance.new("Folder", plr) Saves.Name = "Saves" end)
