Like literally, I look at normal clans and look back at the star wars groups and it always seems like they have way more activity.
The numbers normal clans get on a really active day are the numbers star wars groups get almost all the time.

Starwars clan roleplay as starwars troops and stuff
Literal clan groups do nothing but act tough, expect people to have their group as their top priority and give out orders if not you're exiled and treated like crap. That and they try and act smart with big words they can't even explain without searching them up in dictionary

I'm not going to lie, there's a lot of truth to the fact that people boss each other around and do boring stuff.

Coming from an old leader from the genre, leading the best TFO at its peak in early 2016, (Snoke_ITFO), I can tell you the reasons why are because:
-Focuses more on fun -Great morphs, you get to look good -Roleplaying -Divisions -Opportunities -Easy to join

Because niche.
War clans aren't very niche. Look at how many and how prevalent they are.
Star wars roleplaying groups are such a niche and have enough of a specific goal or interest that they are EXCITED to get together and pursue said goal/interest.
War clans are very broad, shy away from role playing, and pursue very unrealistic/unspecific goals.
That coupled with how much competition war clans face makes the formula for a clan genre with generally more activity. |

| I mean just look at my primary, we have almost 200 fully active members and a average of 70-120 at the base at most times. |

Roleplay is literally it.
Noobs like to roleplay.
Clans are at the point where they are kicking noobs for not being skilled enough, and scratching their heads wondering why they suddenly aren't active enough.

It wasn't the movies, star wars clans were active before them too, the movies probably helped though.

roleplay aspect, the tons of movies coming out right now, and it just generally appeals to noobs who are just now joining and looking for something fun to do.

that, everything said above also is mostly correct but
they also sell gamepasses for cool stuff, little kids, cool stuff, parents, they buy robux, owner of the group makes profit AND gets to run ads to keep making that $

kroxon:
I wouldn't mind roleplaying.
Typical war clans are overrated and totally played out already.
Nothing interesting or unique to them that you don't get out of a well built ROBLOX game.
Someone gave an example to me: Phantom Forces.
For all the clan world's war clan elitism and prlck waiving, it won't be as efficient, structured, or enjoyable as that 1 game is and will be for quite some time.
Won't even ask me to do anything other than what I want. |

You do have to admit, many normal clans did lose the fun aspect over time.

| Normal clans just can't be fun. The developers ###### relentlessly with forts and fancy RCL gimmicks, It might as well just be a bunch of competing RCL-types now. Think back to WIJ Indigo II and RAT's OG Spectrum (forgot the fort name, Borealis maybe?) They dropped in the same year, were loads of fun. I have yet to see clan forts that are anywhere near as fun as those to play man. Clans just lost their touch over time and their leaders just use cookie-cutter methods to make them mainstream enough. |

Roleplay groups are pretty profitable.
I used the same tech from TCD to make a roleplay group for fun and I ended up making profit and got some extreme activity.
We had a city that had 60+ people at it before it died down and I lost interest.
Roleplay can be lots of fun if done right.
In fact, clans are partially roleplay. No one thinks they're an 'emperor' or an actual soldier.
Noobs search join a clan looking for a virtual military, so they expect something cringy, strict, and edgy. Which many clans were like back in 2010 or so, from what I remember.
