The majority of Roblox players instinctively accept all friend requests, or accept friend requests if that player's appearance is pleasing to them. Many people think that if they have a lot of friends, or have good looking friends, it will boost their popularity level. I think not. Surrounding yourself with strangers that are just pretty faces won't make you better. In fact, having little friends that are close is much better than having 200 strangers. Consider this: have I actively engaged with my Roblox friends, and do I trust and care for them? Sometimes asking that will shake you back to reality. I did this once, and I came to realize that 98 of my 100 friends I didn't know. It's crazy how a player will think a simple meaningless number of "friends" will increase people's liking for them. I've known people that have less than 10 friends, and let me tell you, that they are content with the real friends they have made.
My friends are my family, and I don't let a silly little number define who I am and what I can do. Next time you send or receive a friend request, think twice. It may just lead you a step closer to knowing what true friends are.
