I am wanting to make a game that is in basic a tycoon game but with some twists and I am REALLY going to need to be able to script, or have somebody else scripting with me, or really anything of the sort. I do know, however I choose to take on the challenge, that I will need to know at LEAST how to script in a basic way. I have tried tutorials, but most of them are WAY too fasts paced. The ones that seem promising are always barely written (as in they only have one or two lines written in them) or they open up and work fine the first time, but won't open up any other time. Any online program that I find that teaches Lua language coding either teaches Lua for 2D games (which doesn't help my case, for Roblox is a 3D game), or they only offer a limited amount of coding help before they charge a subscription fee to continue any further. I am looking for someone that is willing to help me learn to code Roblox's Lua language coding and is possibly able to help me with the production of my game (this is optional, but I am still looking for people to help with my game. More info on a team for my game will be at the bottom of this post). Please reply to this post if you are interested in helping me with my dilemma.
Now as for the game I am making, I do not have Builder's Club, for I am looking to do all of this for free (I am still in school. this also means that I am not available everyday. luckily I just got out of school until January 3rd for Christmas Break, so keep this in mind). This means that I am unable to have two places open at the same time. Why do I have two places if I am working on one game? Simple. It is because I have a place that I am attempting to learn scripting on, and I plan to use it so that I can be mentored there as it is completely blank due to failed attempts at scripting there. Because of this, I have not created the real tycoon place (I have an old one I don't use) since I plan on using the blank world for scripting. This means that nobody can work on my tycoon game as of now, but it does mean that after I learn to script Roblox's Lua language coding, I will close down the blank scripting world and open up a new one to build the tycoon in. Then I will be able to build a true team for the creation of the game. Thank you all that are reading this for that means that you have survived my seemingly endless rambling. Anyways, thank you for reading this, and reply to this if you are interested in helping my cause. |

| I will try, but I will still accept a mentor if someone is interested. |

| My suggestion is to just start small/Practice basic scripting first. |
