...would be if egos weren't there?
I was a victim of having an ego, too. I used to count the times we won battles for my pleasure of knowing we were so strong.
And now, I've heard talk of allies not even participating in wars because there is the "I want to be #1" thing. It's true.
Do you all think it would be possible for this to change? |

I think you're asking the wrong questions.
Perhaps I should rephrase it for you- 'What do you think if clans had common decency and a mutual desire for fun when engaging in a war?' |

losing wars isn't very fun so of course clans wont work together to make sure things go smoothly
who want to be a loser, even in the name of fun |

It depends, You should have confidence in your clan of course, but be able to back it up.
If you're egolaytor and have been in dev for a year and a half, and you keep hyping your clan up to be so good, you better back it up because if it's not just as good as you said or better than it will flop.
If there were no egos, people wouldn't have wars that really mattered, they'd all be friendly. Yes, I like having fun and friendly wars too but it's also fun to get into the roleplay and be hostile towards a group, not flaming, flaming doesn't really matter but like see them as your enemies.
If both leaders had no egos they'd probably have no actual reason to war each other, other than for a simple activity boost or because they're friends and wanna compare skill in their clans or whatever.
I like it when wars are to see who is better, and you see each other as enemies.
If egos weren't here, that would be gone.

Hi Cujo.
And yes, Wolfane. Let me rephrase it. What would happen if the interest of winning didn't overcame everyone in clans? |

Dominating the opponent and being faced with no challenge isn't fun as well.
You can accomplish the two things I listed while also keeping the desire to win. |

"But what if the interest of winning didn't overcome clans"
but isnt that the whole idea of playing a game, the end goal of beating your opponent |

| When I say "interest of winning" I mean when somebody goes ISOLAYTOR-mode on winning. |
