what the heck even with pcall
using pcall has to be one of the easiest parts of Rblx Lua that I have ever utilized |

If we're talking about programming as a whole, then memory management as a whole (pointers, addressing, endianness, blah blah).
But of course it's a lot more abstract in Lua and I think I have a decent understanding of how Lua handles memory.
So I would say my weakest area in Lua is string manipulation. Which is kind of lame but I never really cared enough about it to learn |

saying using pcall is advanced is like saying using print is advanced as they're both global functions
I believe that lua is a simple language, there are no "truly advanced" as in difficult topics anything can be made more "advanced", it depends on your implementation and needs
now to answer your question, I can't do vector math either and I'm horrible at trying to convert the 2d math taught in school into 3d world |

My stuff usually works exactly how I want it to, but it never looks good. I can't do effects or make tools and such, which makes pretty much all my script useless.
What good is a good game idea with a blank or ugly map? |

after having fun with roblox scripting for as long as I can remember, and covering almost every single part of it, there are 2 concepts that still frustrate me to death when I try to understand them: weak tables and string patterns

expanding on the string patterns thing, I'd rather write a horrible abomination made up of an uncountable amount of string.sub lines and 100 nested conditionals (and that's what all my string manipulation code looks like) than touch gsub

not exclusive to roblox but definitely math as a whole
lately I've been coming up with lots of different challenges for myself and have solved them all within an hour
