Nay, I will never vote to unbar someone who admitted to attempting to essentially destroy our government; especially when a recent poll conducted by the Washington Post shows that only half of Americans are in favor of such unbarring. (50/50)

I encourage everyone to vote Aye!
Our country is built on second chances. Barring someone for life is just wrong, especially in a game. |

Aye
Us humans, often make mistakes that we regret. I sincerely believe that Tim is ready and has the mind set to help our Supreme Court grow. I urge that you move on from his old ways and see the many possibilities that Tim had to offer.
Signed, Apolloqi Senator [D-CA] Democratic Committee Member |

@Dev
No one is questioning the fact that Tim may or may not be good at law. In fact, that's completely irrelevant and should not go into determining a Senator's vote on this as it does not erase the past actions he admitted to that led to his impeachment and ultimately to his resignation as well.
A man who admits to attempting to destroy our government does not deserve to be unbarred and voting to do such is the exact opposite of what we are elected to do.
Now, if you'll excuse me, I have a vacation to return to. |

@Apollo
Benefit the Supreme Court by representing the administration instead of standing the ground of bipartisan? No thanks. |

Had this unbarrment been the will of the people, I might have considered supporting. However, it clearly isn't as can be portrayed within the Washington Post poll showing 50% in favor and 50% against.
Anyone ayeing this is doing it solely for their party's own personal advancement and is definitely not looking out for the betterment of our nation as they are voting in favor of allowing someone who admitted to wanting to destroy our government to be allowed back in that same government.
Utterly disgraceful.

and this, people of cng/nusa, is a bad senator, that would only consider what the people want.
works for themselves and their own benefit, not the benefit of the people

"Benefit the Supreme Court by representing the administration instead of standing the ground of bipartisan? No thanks. "
This is code for "If he doesn't vote the Plutocrat way? No thanks." The job of a Supreme Court justice is to be neither political nor partisan––it's to uphold the Constitution. I understand your nay vote (after not being online for over a week), but don't shroud it in some quasi-noble intention. |
