yes, if it's in their player then they could potentially tamper with stats locally

| I mostly use it to store gui's, tools for admins, Click event stuff, and motors. I'm not sure if it works with player data, I think you should place it in the starterplayerscripts |

...anything "works" with player data. you could store the physical values for player data in a brick in workspace if you wanted to. yes, it works with player data and it's the best place since there's the client can't access it. there's no good reason to store data in starterplayerscripts
