It only works if the BodyMover is placed in an object the client has NetworkOwnership over, I believe.

Character positions are automatically replicated to make the game seem smoother for the client.

Most client-sided changed do NOT replicate, and if they do, you can create simple scripts to stop exploiters from using this to their advantage.

but a local script can edit body mover properties and they do replicate tho

Have you tried modifying any BodyMovers not owned by the Client?

i changed network ownership to the server and the part didn't move!
