I have a theory but I don't know about this stuff.
Ok, Kiffin was an offensive coordinator at Bama, A dominant team with National Championships and other Jewelry. Taking this job could draw recruits to the campus for that exact reputation. If he can draw recruits away from the other colleges such as USF and The U. He can turn a 3-9 team to something better, maybe get the owls on the spotlight. |

He is the worst head coach ever. If he can't rebuild a historical powerhouse (USC) what makes you think he can make FAU good for once. |

| it will be much easier to rebuild a team in CUSA than a team in PAC12, especially in a recruiting state like Florida |

easier conference better recruiting state
he's not the best coach but it will be easier to make FAU better than it was to make USC better |
