If you are/have, how is it?
Go into as much detail as you can, such as how it was freshman year. |

| Ok, I would like to hear about it @Theta. I am a sophomore and I have been learning a lot of programming languages (Not that good tbh) and I am pretty interested on what cs is like in college. |

| It really depends on #### ###### ### ## ### I'm a sophomore right now. Freshman year was mostly weed-out classes, where a good fraction drop out of the cs program. Learning as many languages is helpful, but depending on #### ###### ### ## ### you probably wont use more than half of them. |

For example
I go to a fair sized private university, while a few close friends of mine go to University of Texas and University of Cali at San Diego
Our experiences vary greatly

| Well how can you describe the course work. Were the First year classes pretty easy? Do they explain the languages well or do they expect you to mainly learn it by yourself? |

Again, depends on the school
The intro classes I were in taught how to use logic, basic data structures, arrays, and common features among most languages
we used c++ |

After learning the basics in class, we are given assignments that require us to explore what we can and cannot do.
ie taught how to create a linear search in class for an assignment outside of class, we would do a simulated sort and search of a student class for their grades and other variables
