I'm looking into a new Graphics Card, and CPU
But apparently there's this thing called "power supply"?
How do I get more and how do I check how much I have?
Thanks in advance

Not sure if troll but here you go. There is usually a label in the back of your PC where it tells you how many watts your power supply has, if its a prebuilt. When you figured out how many Watts your power supply has (PSU) you can figure out what GPU to buy. Different GPUS require different amount of power.

If your GPU eats more power than your computer can provide then your graphic card will throttle. (Not working at full speed). Possibly damaging your computer. So always makes sure your PSU can handle your system.

get a power supply that has more wattage than you need just add up how much wattage the rest of your pc uses up so you know how much you should get they're not that expensive so it doesn't hurt to get a lot more than you need

No, I'm not calling you a troll, just go to pc part picker, choose your graphics card and cpu and see, see the watts in the top right ish corner, and then have your power supply be a bit higher than that.
Say for example it's like 150, plus your build's wattage, go with whatever is a hundred over your build's watts.
That's what I usually do anyways, so that you can have breathing room if you wanna upgrade more.

| Don't get a cheap no-brand PSU either. It may explode and fry your whole system. |
