New to ROBLOX? Or maybe you’re just looking to hone your skills as a game developer? If the answer is yes, then you shouldn’t miss this blog post where we show you the 3 fundamentals of making a ROBLOX game…

So, you want to make a game? You came to the right place. Creating a game from scratch can be a daunting task. You’ve got to come up with an idea and persevere through the hurdles of game development until you finally have a completed product. And even then, there’s still more work to be done via updates or new content, for example. If you follow these steps, however, creating a game will be fun, rewarding, and not nearly as complex as it sounds.

Formulate:

Before you start developing your game, you need an idea. This is crucial. The more original – or innovative – your idea is, the better. Don’t worry though, there are lots of ways to make sure you choose an idea that will succeed. Your first step is to brainstorm a bunch of game ideas; the more the better! While brainstorming, keep in mind what type of audience you’re making the game for. Choosing your audience is very important as it determines the outcome of your game. For example, ROBLOX High School or RoCitizens are roleplaying games that bring in specific audiences who are interested in highly social experiences.

"We do have a lot in common. The same earth, the same air, the same sky. Maybe if we started looking at what's the same instead of looking at what's different, well, who knows?"
