| i already regret them, only eaten wotsits (Uk cheetos) and ice cream for the past 3 days, cant even eat cerial bc it hurts so much |

| I used to have them. It's going to take a couple days till the pain goes away. You should be eating normally without interruption in 5-10 days. |

Yeh boy, it'll get better. You just can't have popcorn or apples.
When you get them off however, you might need a retainer. Just hope you're not like me, where they don't tell you you need a retainer until the day you get the braces off, then tell you you'll need it indefinitely (it's cemented to the back of my bottom front teeth).
But do take good care of them and brush loads. I couldn't be happier with my teeth after braces. |

| Ty, been getting different stuff from different people. Heard they'll be fine in 2-3 days from my dentist, but friends said it took up to 2 weeks to be fully used to them |

| It took me about a week to get used to them, everyone is different though. Some people get braces in different areas then others. When I first got them, I had them on the top only but not on every tooth. Always wear your retainers once you get them but that'll be in a couple of years. |
