Hi, so it might be a funny question, but this is the only site where I don't care what ppl think of me xD

So, today I went to a place and found out that my body fat percentage is 25%

Is that bad?

I'm a 16 yr old girl, 5'2

My friend tells me that's a high fat percentage, but I have a slim figure, so I'm wondering how this can be? Now, I'm slim. But I practically never work out.
Is it just that what is slim is fat instead of muscle because I don't lift weights and stuff?

I wanna get in shape for a Christmas party and I wanna know what the percentage should be for someone like me and if my current percentage is bad

I do think I look fine, everyone tells me I look slim all the time and stuff. But just because I'm slim doesn't mean I'm healthy and I want to be healthy.

I'm 109, I know I'm short, so it seems like a lot. But I still look super thin so I'm not exactly sure if I'm technically 'in shape' or not

XD Yeah, I've wanted to be a bit more toned but I just didn't want to look like one of those super strong, scary looking women. I just want to tone instead of build up a huge amount of muscles. What exercises and stuff would you suggest for just getting me more toned and fit instead of looking like a muscular man? XD

The thing is, Idk how my percentage could be 25%, I already have a flat stomach and stuff, I'm assuming it's my legs (thighs maybe). And I don't really eat donuts normally anyways xD But thanks

Getting toned means you have to get a lean amount of body ### ## do compound excerises such as squats, lunges, curls, etc. Since your body fat is at 25 percent that means you need to cut the eating

I appreciate your advice on the exercises, but I actually do eat pretty healthily, so there's no need to be rude. I don't exercise, but I do eat fairly healthy. Thanks everyone
