Yeah, given the time period, George Washington would make a horrible modern president.
But at the same time, it'd be nice to have another president that didn't really want to be president, but took the job anyways because everybody wanted him/her as president. |

| @wrath i'm assuming that you're referring to how trump was the "underdog"???.... the situations in which trump and washington became president are completely different. george washington was the only person even considered fit to even serve after the war. |

@jubguy3 I actually wasn't refering to Trump at all. I'm just saying that George Washington didn't really want the position of presidency, but he was voted as president unanimously. To me, that sounds like a pretty good president. |

Washington was a horrible president. He started a war by shooting a french diplomat He revolted because of taxes (high taxes are bad, wars are worse) |
