if you've ever looked at a screwdriver once in your life, you can manage to build a pc
just look up a tutorial on youtube and you'll have it done within an hour, tutorial isnt even needed if you have any form of common sense when it comes to putting 2 things together lol
and even still if you somehow manage to fail at putting it together, pretty much any PC shop will build it for you for like $20
yet there are still people who get ripped off and buy a pre-built clickbait PC for like $1300 dollars which they could've gotten for about 700

Tbh I don't think it's that easy, my friend built his own and he found it hard, he's a PC nerd, it works now but he had trouble for a while.
Do shops really build them for you if you ask? Tbh though idk what parts are required for a PC, if I did I'd pay someone to make it after I get all the parts.
I might get a custom, I have like 2k to spend so idk.

You gotta also remember that parents don't exactly like their children buying high dollar electrical components and probably expect them to screw everything up within the first move.
That's how my parents were, glad not anymore.

There's a lot of stuff that scares me from building my own PC.
Like electric discharge on the motherboard. |

| Why take the risk of messing up for 700 dollars when you can buy a (most of the time) perfectly functioning PC for a bit more? And you can get PCs cheaper than 1300 dollars (but less quality). |

''Like electric discharge on the motherboard.''
