Two questions:
1. Do you go to school or are you homeschooled?
2. Which method do you think is better.
Personally, I think going to school is better but here are some of the Pro's and Cons about both:
Going to School:
Pros:
-A more social environment (Including extracurricular activities such as sports and student government - Free for the most part (unless you're in private school)
Cons:
-Bullying -Most students hate going to school because it's boring -You might not like your teacher
Homeschooling:
Pros:
-On your own schedule, you don't have to wake up early and can take breaks and it can end whenever you want -If you parent is qualified to teach you, your expierience will be more personalized towards you -Don't have to worry about bullies
Cons:
-Probably the biggest con is the social aspect. Going to school is a big part of making friends in the early stages of life. People who I know are homeschooled irl tend to be more shy and it's hard for them to make friends.
*Please note I'm trying to be as fair as I can to both sides of the argument, this is meant to be a constructive discussion and I don't want any fights going on. |

| I'm Cyber Schooled, and I like it more because I get some nice free time to myself. I'm an Asynchronous student, meaning I don't have to attend classes. I just do the work and play games. |

I go to school, but I think homeschooling is WAY better. I have a friend who is homeschooled, and she is the COMPLETE opposite of a shy person lol Also she has a pretty normal amount of friends. |

| There are more pros to being home schooled. Home schooled gets you into a good job, which is #### ###### is for. Friends come and go. If social skills are your issue, as needed int he workforce, try making friends in public places. |

@Arci are you sure about the job part, I thought it was the other way around but I didn't include it in the Pros/Cons because I was unsure.

1. Both, I go to this place to get modules and do work, basically self teaching myself. 2. Depends on the person, I personally like the program i'm in. |

I go to a public school and I think it's a great experience. If there's stupid people, you will feel better about yourself. And you will look up to the smarter people. As for bullying, it's all about how you understand it and how to trick the people who are actually doing it. It's not a problem for me nowadays but it used to be (in like 6th grade), and so I acted like they were my "very best friends" and talked to them constantly. Really pissed them off and they never bullied me ever again.

Homeschooled. Because you get to learn stuff online, even though the social aspect is a bit difficult. Well for me anyway.
It's weird that I can be social online but in the real world I'm always shy or nervous. That's probably just me though. |

"It's weird that I can be social online but in the real world I'm always shy or nervous. That's probably just me though.' Because you don't know how to convey yourself in a social environment, and public schools help with that. I used to be exactly like you but I am really social now.

@Trench
A lot of people are more social online than in real life, it's because you think of the screen as a barrier, you might not even realize it but that's the reason, you're less afraid to say stuff online because people can't give you a mean look, or easily spread a rumor to people you know irl. |

| I go to school. I did home schooling for a year and it was nice that I didn't have to wake up so early but I was super lonely. Not all people who are home schooled are shy but I have met people who have been home schooled their whole lives and never ever ever talk to anyone. |

@Rspy It's not just that though. It's a lack of knowing how or what to do in the situation. You could have trouble even saying "hello" to someone but that wouldn't start rumors (unless, you know, you were trying to talk to a girl or something, but we're talking about general classmates)

I can guarantee you that I would be very shy if I were homeschooled.

going to school is better because -more social interaction with age group -develop people skills -learn life lessons from people around you -school teaches discipline to adolescents -good social skills is good for workplace |
