Hello! I'm thelolguy301, you likely know me best as the creator of Kingdom Life™ II.
A lot of questions have been asked recently, and I would like to clarify a couple of things about the game.
Lately I've started working on completely reworking the game's visuals; Armor, weapons, animations, character models, etc.
But I've also been working on the interface of the game. I am completely reworking the interface to be easier to use, nicer looking, and of course; less confusing.
As I started doing this, I decided to port the game to FE; This disconnects the player from the core of the game, taking away their ability of editing its contents; for example changing the skybox etc.
When this update is out, the probability of all exploits being patched, is extremely high. I am working on this update with Mordelaine ( https://www.roblox.com/users/70205340/profile ). She is working on the map while I do the characters, weapons and animations, as well as rewriting the game's core. I am also adding new features such as magic (finally), enhanced gameplay abilities (for example, more immersive animations and interaction with the map)
With this huge update, I want to push Kingdom Life™ II to its very limit; make it the best it can be. But of course, with such a huge update comes the requirement of time. A map doesn't build itself. Code doesn't generate for you. I am trying to keep the time-to-progress ratio as low as possible, but this update will still take a long time.

Does this mean that the former moderators will receive their consolation gifts when the update is released for KL II?
other one, will we also get a consolation gift for ToN or is that a no?

It looks like KLII's finally moving onto the next generation. Are ALL the old assets getting replaced or only some of them, if the current ones don't end up quite as great?

This update seems to be quite large and time consuming to do but it'll be very beneficial for removing the mass amount of exploiters in Kl II as well as improving graphics of the game, which is always nice :)
While am here I might as well ask, do you know by any chance when this update will be released? Yes, I do understand a large update like this will take some time but am not asking for a exact date, just an estimate if possible.
Anyway, keep up the good work thelolguy301, Moderlaine and anyone else who is helping kingdom life.

Good to hear! I've been watching this game grow since you first took over. I still remember the old days where BoopBot's version was booming, everyone was playing it. Now it's just old news with the one you have. I'm super excited to see what's to follow. I'm one of the applicators for Community Helper, and I can't wait to see the update. Any estimate or clue when it's gonna come out? Possibly late February or March? Just wondering is all.

| I've played KL2 near every day for 6 MONTHS.And now, seeing that it's basically getting remastered is like an 8 year old getting an Xbox One for Christmas. I do hope it is out as soon as you can put it out without digging into YOUR time too much, this update will definitely dig into MY time a lot! I wish you the best of luck, and have a nice day! |

Hello!
Some might recognise me, some don't.
Anyway, I'm the Co-Owner of KL and Co-Developer of the future, currently on hold, Tales of Nearim alongside thelolguy301. I'm also the Owner of Empire of Omaegar which is currently in development.
That being aside, as a small support to thelolguy301 and Mordelaine, whom's also building the map and doing a great job on it really, I'll be making some buildings for this update as well! Don't worry, I've asked if I was allowed to and Mordelaine told me to make some small yet epic things, which is completely okay!
I'm glad I am able to help, because it means a lot to me!
I'm sure this update will turn out great, I'm really excited to see the final result!

In fact, KL III was simply renamed to Tales of Naerim (more commonly referred to as ToN).

Yes. All previously present bugs will be ruled out. Everything will work more closely together.
