there's some sort of gas build up inside your knuckles, and when you crack 'em, you release said gas
...dirt and sweat?

@emirite
probably not as a career (i'd want to be a doctor, which is extremely risky/expensive/hard), but i'm probably going to get a paramedic certification soonish and do that for a little bit

@heydude
generally it's just overly flexible joints or some part added to the joint (basically like a benign mutation not really but kind of) that increases the mobility

not sure - i'm not considering it as a viable career option, so i haven't really thought of it very much
but maybe neurology, my great-grandfather was a pretty good neurologist, it's an interesting subject, and it'd be nice to keep it in the family
mildly interesting fact: said great-grandfather "discovered" a neurological effect
also taught at upenn for a while

Buff enjoys it when he inserts his StA deep into my Swampy Moon Outpost and discharges 50 shocking rounds of laser into me. He groans as the ATACs go flying and the dropship prepares to launch it's missiles deep into the raider spawn of Kaznan.
Is this normal?

If a patients airway is closed up and you can't intubate what do you do? (You don't have the tools for a Crike either)

is a crike a tracheotomy
if so
idk i'm not a doctor - probably the only other thing that could be done is attempt to treat the cause of the closed airway
in a lot of cases that'd just be administering epinephrine
