I've done this a couple of times in the past but I kinda want to start my 3rd one. I'll keep this post to the point.
Why OT? - Nowhere else to document my experience.
Why are you staying up? - Curiousity and partially for the illusions.
"OMG AETRUSITE UR GONNA RUIN UR HEALTH" - I'm already aware of this you don't need to tell me again.
When did you wake up? Noon. Seriously, I woke up at 12:00 exactly.
So yeah I'll bump this every hour or half-hour depending on how I feel to do a progress report. If I stay off for more than 3 hours chances are I slept, but since I planned this out so well I'd be genuinely surprised if I have to sleep.
Post your questions here and you should get a reply within an hour. |

| The alkali metals are all shiny, soft, highly reactive metals at standard temperature and pressure and readily lose their outermost electron to form cations with charge +1. They can all be cut easily with a knife due to their softness, exposing a shiny surface that tarnishes rapidly in air due to oxidation by atmospheric moisture and oxygen (and in the case of lithium, nitrogen). Because of their high reactivity, they must be stored under oil to prevent reaction with air, and are found naturally only in salts and never as the free elements. |

6 1/2 hours - Only drank 8mg of caffeine and despite my caffeine addiction I still don't feel lethargic -- I don't yet, at least.

Useful.
"have fun sweetie"
Ok.
"19 hours - vomiting litrerally"
Lmao.
"hope you survive, dream weaver."
I've done this before, I'm fine.
"i did something like this once

Same experience when i did this successfully awhile back with 50 hours being awake.
"I also done something like this once. I fell asleep at my screen at 4am."
Damn. It does take a lot of willpower, especially if you're easily tired like I am.
A tip I have is to try to limit caffeine usage until you need it and drink tons of it when you're feeling very tired. |

Stop what?
I'll probably only do this once a month at most. (planning 72 hours for December if this goes well) |

| i didn't literally mean survive, i just meant it figuratively as in don't fall asleep. if you can stay awake, it's still a possibility like how you can fall off the tight-rope despite going through it a bunch of times. |

Damn 1 week is good, and when I stayed up for 2 days I kinda felt similarly with the "couldn't process things" part. |

"Damn 1 week is good, and when I stayed up for 2 days I kinda felt similarly with the "couldn't process things" part." During the one insomniac week, I was seeing things and was very angry. I remember typing in capitals when I was on OT, and I frequently made typos + misread replies. |

13 hours - Heartburn atm for some reason but that's kinda normal for me every so often.
"Oh okay then"
Yes lol.
"im gonna stay up until a game im waiting for comes out hopefully it doesn't get delayed again >:("
Cool.

What did you see? I've always been interested in things like illusions and "seeing things" and all that. (in fact that's partially why I'm doing this)
I remember when I stayed up 2 days I saw forum posts appear in front of me. (no idea how to explain it) |
