UIS is way better it is way more efficient and makes it super easy to detect presses of function keys and shift and stuff, besides KeyDown is deprecated and will eventually be removed soooo

Uhmmmmm well firstly you've provided literally 0 evidence to why it is more efficient. Secondly, KeyDown will never be removed, this is Roblox okay. |

| If it's deprecated it's officially not supported. Whether it's better or not is irrelevant, if you persist in using deprecated functions you are asking for your scripts to end up not working. ROBLOX typically doesn't try to purposely remove them but believe it or not one day they're going to stop working correctly, there's a reason old games are buggy. |

| There's nothing wrong with GetMouse, which is not deprecated in the slightest. KeyDown and KeyUp in particular are the main things you shouldn't be using: probably moved to UIS since it's more practical that the keyboard is separate from the mouse. |

there's everything wrong with keydown
it's stupid, why is the mouse being used for key input
it's deprecated, in a perfect world it'd be removed completely
it's not guaranteed to keep working, yes
