Just people texting and being attached to them.
I mean, I use mine to Forum occasionally, and that's it.
But they treat them like they're their own children; there's even a term for the fear of losing your phone.
Just a decade ago, people were having conversations regularly.
This generation is doomed in my opinion. Including me possibly. |

at my high school we aren't allowed to use our phones at all or it's a $15 fine

i understand if we can't use them in class but what about passing period and lunch like for real it's unfair |

maybe they're using their phone because they want something to do to pass the time?
most people dont usually spring into conversation with every stranger they see, they never have |

@Yuh, well, I hope so.
It's good that technology is advancing, but the human race is getting more and more sucked in. |

| Actually I remember when I was in grade school everyone would be striking up conversations. Probably because it was grade school, though. & the teachers were strict. |

| I remember the time where phones were rare in the place I grew up in. A time where so many people (me included) in my school did this kind of thing with comics or books instead. |

actually, at my school, there aren't that many people using their phones the whole time during lunch. i think it's because lunch is the only time they can actually meet with their friends (some friends don't share classes - like me and my best friend :-( ) and talk about whatever. also lunchbreak only lasts like 20 minutes so you have to spend at least 5 minutes eating bread and then 10 minutes talking to your friends and then you have 5 minutes left to check your phone, which usually is to check what class you have next
