Go for the second one. You'd think the 1060 is better than the 1050 and you'd be right, but the processor on the first one is awful.

no, you're stupid
the GPU is what matters in games anyways, and the processor doesn't matter mostly
just get an i3, it's way better for gaymen on a budget |

Saying the processor doesn't matter really shows that you don't know what you're talking about. The GPU does graphics calculations and spits out frames, but the CPU is the component that tells it what to do. Your framerate depends on how much information the CPU can pass along; even if you have a huge GPU farm that can spit out 240FPS, your CPU can still lock that down to 60.

@nutcase It's really cheap (especially for a six-core processor) and doesn't match up to most other common processors. Pretty much any Intel processor will do better than that. If you take the AMD out and ### ## ## ### #1 is great.

Do you have a specific list of builds you're choosing from, or a specific list of processors you're looking at?

As a PC gamer, I recommend neither.
Unless you're building on a budget, both of these choices are outright awful. Get an RX 470/480.
The 1060 3GB is basically an RX 470D but in Nvidia form, and the 1050 Ti is roughly equivalent to a factory OCed 950 with DX12 support.

also go with a skylake i3 6100 or i5 6400 (ignore the people saying you should go 6500, just have good enough airflow and it'll always turbo boost to 3.2GHz)
